Probe VIII
By Rodney K. Douglas

The poet is not a linguistic embodiment,
Nor can a poem be contained in words;
The ego submits to the written word,
The poem is manifested in the poet’s deeds;
He lives his poem night and day
And shares it with the world at large.

Thanks for the contribution, Rodney!
