Hello All!

As always, if you have any island events or news you want to post here, just email me with your info and I'll post asap.

More Vashon news awaits you this issue! We're letting Joan's Part 3 of Tapestry of Time roll over for another month because we were late on the posting in September. Wanted to give everyone time to see and read it.

Thanks to everyone who has called and emailed after seeing the recent oil spill in our Vashon waters that was in the news. Though we haven't gotten any calls yet to go and do community clean up, we do have friends down on the South end of the island that say it stinks to high heaven down there. We are all crossing our fingers for the wildlife. As of posting today, they have not yet found the source of the spill. As we know more, we'll let you know.

Don't forget Vashon Halloween up in town on Saturday the 30th. Hawk and I will be at the Vashon Bookshop for the big Radio Theater Play! Come have a listen after you've gathered up all that candy :)

And just a little FYI, we now have about 40 copies of the Mrs. Duck and The Woman book in the Spanish language edition!! If you are here on Vashon and have a need for copies, just be in touch with me!
