Submission Guidelines
The main website here at KotaPress.com is updated irregularly and new content is added by invitation only.
The Kota Blog is updated regularly by a group of contributors. If you would like to become an active author there -- meaning you post content at least once a month to add to the blog -- please contact Kara. OR if you have a one-time contribution of artwork, article, reflection, poem, song, video, book review or anything you'd like to share on KOTA blog, please send your submissions to editor@kotapress.com for consideration.
Notes about submitting to KotaPress:
- We expect that all submissions are property of the person submitting the work.
- By submitting to us, you are confirming that you have the rights to the works and that you grant KotaPress one-time + archival publication rights to the work you send.
- Archival rights means that you are granting us permission to keep the work posted online in our archive for as long as our publications are on the Web. We DO NOT go back through the archive to remove or change content just because you change your mind.
- The person who submits the work is responsible for telling us about any previous publication credits that might need to be added to publication with us.
- We do not automatically publish everything that is submitted to us. If we accept your publication, you will hear from us with publication information somewhere between 2 months to a year after submission.
- If we decide to not publish your information, you will not hear from us. We do not justify why individual publications are rejected.
