SeattleMISS Provides Umbrella for the Mrs. Duck Kindness Project The MISS Foundation chapter SeattleMISS and KotaPress have partnered to bring you the Mrs. Duck Kindness Project. Through this Project we are offering free web versions of the book Mrs. Duck and The Woman to bereaved families around the world. If you or someone you love is enduring the death of a baby due to any cause, we offer you free eBook and free Flash animations versions of the book Mrs. Duck and The Woman on this website. If you run or are associated with a grief support website for an organization such as a florist, hospital, funeral home, church, support group, foundation, training center, etc., we hope you will offer links to the free web versions of this book for the bereaved families in your care. And we hope you will consider ordering Sponsored paperback copies of this book to keep on site in your physical location for patients/clients or for staff use in Thanantology or other CME & grief support trainings. This book was written just after our son Dakota was born-still in March 1999 and has helped us move through the grieving process to a place of healing. We offer web versions of this book to you as a way to try and start putting the pieces back together again. We hope you will act today to begin providing support for bereaved families in your area. If we don't reach out to the 39,000 families per year who need this support, who will? We want to work with you to provide this tangible support to the people for whom you care. Contact us today with your order! Please note that while KotaPress is not a non-profit, you can make tax-deductible gifts to the Mrs. Duck Kindness Project through our umbrella 501(c)3 organization The MISS Foundation. Please contact Kara at 206-251-6706 for more information on how to make your Sponsorship thru our non-profit umbrella, The MISS Foundation. |
