      Many apologies for posting
        sooooo late this month.
        Afraid to say that we'll
        be late in December, too,
because we are in the middle
        of moving once again! Arg
        :) In the meantime...
We have a lot of information
        and stories to share this
        month in our Loss Journal.
        Updates from MISS and Neo
        Fight. Info about National
        Children's Memorial Day
        events happening around
        the US. An interview with
        four moms about the loss
        of the children and their
        diagnosis of PCOS -- merely
        a coincidence? New Q&A
        from the Grief Journey discussion.
        And so much more.
      Starting next month, December
        2003, we'll have several
        new features in this Loss
        Journal. Because our Poetry
        Journal is shutting down,
        we'll be migrating the monthly
        Poetry Therapy column as
well as the Mrs. Duck updates
to the Loss Journal. I think
        the new content will only
        enhance the resources we
        are able to provide here.
      As always, my heart to
        you as you pull yourselves
        thru the holiday season.
I hope you are able to find
        some peace, stability, maybe
even a tiny bit of joy??
Wish we could do so much
        more for each and every
        one of you!!!
      Many thanks and many miracles
        to you,
      Kara

        Kara
        lives on Vashon Island which
is a much more awesome place
        than she ever imagined it
would be!! She is a poet,
        bookmaker, wife, teacher,
        mother to a stillborn son,
        facilitator, tech consult,
        founder, struggling p.t.barnum,
        turtle faithful, editor,
        artist, and a million other
        things that will prevent
        you from putting her in
        any one particular label
        box! Kara teaches through
        local art centers, artists
        in the schools programs,
        KotaPress and independently.
        Kara has recently re-discovered
the henna arts and has begun
        to explore using the art
of body henna as a ritual
        for healing. Check out her
