Phantom images
of a girl who never go to be
seeing her in places
she never got to see.....

I round the corner
and there she stands
but then she turns
and reaches for another's hands....

I choke back my tears
and sadly turn away
and see another little one
who could have been her anyday....

It seems no matter when
or how or where I go
I see phantom images of her
and it makes me feel so low.....

Little brown haired girls
make my heart skip a beat
even though I know
that till Heaven, we will not meet.....

Phantom images
shadows of a girl
Imagining her existence
and the colors start to swirl....
