The Heartache of Autumn
poem by Katie Smith

As Autumn Arrives
Leaves Change Into A Rainbow Of Colors
Strong Emotions And Remembrances Of You
Warms My Soul Like A Soft Baby's Blanket
The Cool Crisp Breeze
Brings Sadness To My Heart
Three Years Of Grief Have Passed
That Was Just Yesterday
When You Were Born Still And Silent
Welcomed Into Heaven's Loving Arms
Questions Of Why Still Haunt Me
Anger Sometimes Visits Me
Tears Still Fall Like Autumn's Leaves
I Miss My Little Angel
And The Life That Could Have Been
