New MISS WA Website
by Kara L.C. Jones

For several years now, my husband Hawk and I have concurrently run KotaPress and been the MISS WA state chapter contacts. And in that time, we have housed the MISS WA chapter information here at the KotaPress site in the Loss Journal area. I'm excited to announce that the link will continue to be housed here, but MISS WA has finally got its very own web home!!!

www.missfoundation.org/seattle

While Hawk and I will continue to do the web design and content management for that site, I'm trying to expand the offerings there to incorporate information about any MISS chapter events happening anywhere in the Pacific NW. Nancy Grayson over in Idaho has been kind enough to share lots of info with me. And we have several parents in Southern WA, very near the border & Portland, OR, who have expressed interest in starting some MISS chapter events there. So hopefully, we'll have some new announcements from that area of the NW, too.

Also, one of the pages on the new site is a calendar page for any child death support event. So even if you are not a MISS chapter, but are running support events, please be in touch with me. I'm very interested in making a comprehensive Pacific NW calendar -- a one stop site for families to find support in OR, WA, and ID.

Thanks to everyone and congrats to MISS WA on the new site!!
