Words without Nature
In the language of Oceans
there
is no word
for time,
only patience and unrelenting
motion
reducing all obstacles
to nothing.
In the
language of Rivers
there is no word
for schedule,
as it
slowly meanders
around lazy curves
to find itself once again
at
home.
In the language of Lakes
there is no word
for
boundaries,
it casually seeps into
the surrounding
landscape
waiting for the moment
of its release.
If
nature, in all of its perfect balance,
has no use for these
words,
why do we need them
so much.
