KotaPress, January 2003

A-ha! So you noticed that we didn't post this new issue till mid-January, did you? What can I say? There are results and reasons. My reasons are boring and of the ridiculous "I hate what I'm doing and so what am I going to be when I grow up" nature. And the result is that this issue posted a couple weeks late. Well, since there ain't no advertisers to yell at me, so what?!? :)

That's life folks. Take it or leave it. And for now, here's what you can take from this issue:

Lots of reviews from moi about works from Ruth Daigon, Charles Fishman, KC Wilder, Patricia Wellingham-Jones, Carrington MacDuffie, and Barbara Crooker. Lots of poetry from Trevor Hewett, Meg Smith, CE Laine, and more. Behind the Scenes with Ruth Daigon. Vashon Feature with the *amazing* Nan Caskey. And a list of Annual Poetry Events in our News column.

Surf around. See what you like. Ignore what you don't. And go live your lives! We're just some little, tiny, NW, rag with no budget -- don't yell at me because your poems posted late! :)

Miracles to you,

Kara L.C. Jones, Dakota's Mommy
