Focke-Wulf Triebflügeljäger
Art by Ronnie Olsthoorn

Description: By the end of the Second World War, German engineers had made dozens of bizarre design
studies for superweapons. The Triebflügeljäger was without doubt one of the most ambitious. It had a big rotor,
powered by three ramjets and an equal number of starter rockets. The idea was for the aircraft to take off
vertically from any location to quickly intercept allied high-gflying bombers.
No construction of this contraption was undertaken.
