Alkaseltzer Termite

Software: Alkaseltzer Termite was a spot created for Mexico in which a hungry
termite eats a plastic chair, gets an upset stomach, and then drinks a glass of
Alkaseltzer to remedy it. The character was first designed and drawn by hand and a model
sheet was developed. It was then modeled, textured and animated using Softimage 3D 3.9 on
Compaq dual P3-550's. Finally, he was lit and rendered with Mental Ray's Global Illumination
feature in order to make him look as if he's really intergrated in the environment. Compositing
was done on Discreet's Inferno. Alkaseltzer Termite has won an award.
